We had an overall pleasant romantic escape, with some good location features nearby. The complimentary parking was very convenient, and saved us a lot of hassle. We also enjoyed the beautiful ambiance of the surrounding nature, which provided a peaceful atmosphere to relax in.

However, we were ultimately disappointed by the lack of cleanliness in the room and the poor service. The room had clearly not been properly cleaned as there were cobwebs and spiderwebs in the corners, and we found dead bugs in the bathroom. The staff were not responsive to our complaints, and we had to deal with these issues ourselves. It was not the romantic escape we had hoped for, and left us feeling frustrated and disappointed.

We had a great time during our recent trip. The staff was very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. We especially liked the complimentary breakfast and the fact that the staff kept everything clean and well stocked. The location was ideal, being just a short walk away from the beach, which was lovely. We also appreciated the spacious rooms and the fact that they had recently been renovated.

The only downside to our stay was the glitchy wifi. While it wasn't a huge problem, it did cause a bit of frustration when trying to use our devices. Also, we wish we had known ahead of time that our room was on the third floor, as there was no elevator and the stairs were a bit of a challenge. though, we had a great experience and would recommend this hotel to others.

This hotel is located in a picturesque neighborhood perfect for morning walks. The onsite gym and pool are great for active travelers. The hotel's delicious breakfast spread is a plus. The stunning mountain view from the balcony is definitely worth waking up to.

The elevator can be quite slow during peak hours.

I loved the room, it was spotless and had a coffee machine, an iron with ironing board and a work desk. A bathtub in the private bathroom was a plus.

Enjoyed the freshly made waffles and breakfast spread every morning, with a variety of yogurt, eggs, and pastries. The location was near a beautiful beach and close to stunning hiking trails. Loved the spacious room and high ceilings with a large closet, bathroom, and shower.

The walls were thin, so noise from neighbors could be heard. Housekeeping only came once during the stay, leaving us with few towels.

The room I booked was well kept and clean and available with a comfortable bed. A microwave and a fridge were provided. Secluded location of this small hotel was a bonus.

The staff were not very friendly, didn't expect that coming.

the rooms were romantic and immaculate, the view was magnificent. the service was excellent with parking on site.

IT was a quiet, comfortable room. IT had a microwave and coffeemaker in the rom and a great breakfast that came with the room fee.

IT was a bit expensive for an older hotel. Also the main office was not open when we went downstairs at 7:30 am

The location is very good for visiting Asilomar and the rooms are not luxurious but nice with comfortable beds, TVs in both rooms of the suite, and good internet.

Spacious suites, well equipped, and spotlessly clean. Everything in perfect working order. Very nice continental breakfast. Video rentals.

Hot tub would be nice.

Nice location, beach is in walking distance. 17 miles drive is around the corner, Monterey aquarium also. Overall good hotel facility. Typical us breakfast with jam, cheese etc. We had a two-bedroom accomodation which offered enough space for 4 adults. Clean rooms, small kitchen is in one of the rooms (fridge, microwave oven).

You pay a bit a higher price rather for the location, the hotel is good and nice, but the main reason for the higher price is simply the location.

Free upgrade to studio with full kitchen, Quiet neighborhood, lots trees, walk to beach, spacious condo style with balcony, free continental breakfast, free wifi.
